I swear, this is my last chances thread! Help a girl out, please

Dartmouth
Brown
Princeton
UCLA (out-of-state)
University of Rochester
University of Michigan Ann-Arbor
-super-safeties (SUNY schools)
What do you think? Recommendations for other schools are fine, but I'm kinda looking to narrow down the list at this point.

UCLA (good chance)
U mich.. not too familiar with the school

it really depends on what Asian nationality you are.

Where are you from and how many Ap's have you taken overall?

I'm Chinese...how much does that matter? I figured AA works against all Asians in general.

I'm from Western NY, and I'll have 8 APs by graduation (Euro- 4, US- 4, Language- 3, Bio- 5, Physics C (if it doesn't kill me first), Calc AB, Psych, and Literature)

Not necessarily all Asians, filippinos, vietnamese, cambodians get some advantage. Chinese / Jap / Koreans are screwed..

for super safety schools, try schools around the level of University of maryland

How would they know what kind of asian you are though? LoL. Dont you just mark Asian or Pacific Islander?

^ well, some apps ask if any other languages are spoken at home.

Dartmouth - Reach
Brown - Reach
Princeton - Reach
UCLA (out-of-state) - Match
University of Rochester - Low Match/Safety
University of Michigan Ann-Arbor - Low Match

Take a look at Washington University in St. Louis. Ranked #12 by U.S. News. Has one of the best (if not the best) pre-med programs in the country. Med school there is rated #4 in U.S. Nice campus. Very nice dorms. Lots of smart, talented, friendly kids. Cooperative, not cut-throat. The kids that go there generally love it.

UCLA (OOS): Match

OK does "match" mean that I'll probably get in, but it's not a sure thing like a safety is?

we'regoingdown_swinging:

UCLA: Match (out of state)
