Essay
I will write about a Table. How the table is important to me: In Africa my family and I were in a war and so we hide underneath the table from the bombs. Now, since I am in the USA for many years, don’t know exact number... but anyways, now my parents uses it to talk about bills and how will survive for next day.

So the essay will be a contrast of the use of a table in two different countries and two different situations.

anyone here...

i remember this.
What exactly are you asking... it's not clear.

what are my chances?

the exact same as before
<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/564963-urm-out-state-nj.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/564963-urm-out-state-nj.html</a></p>

but you already knew that.

Did you ever apply. In all your posts, you only ask for your chances, but you do not make any mention of whether you actually submitted a completed application.

At any rate, a 3.0 GPA along with a sub 1900 SAT makes Michigan a significant reach. You do have a pretty interesting background, so that may help, but it probably won't be enough.

Big reach.

Not very good. Your gpa and test scores are low.

If you havent applied yet..

I think you are applying a little too late for such stats...i had friend last year with a 4.0 and 31 and stronger ECs(4 year commitments/leadership) who applied in january and got waitlisted and then rejected...the thing is they have already given away a lot of spots.

sorry..just saying.

Significant reach, but I love the idea behind your essay. Best of luck.
