i think i destroyed my chances....

<p>k, so i didnt realize UM was rolling admissions (i know, i know, im applying more to please my dad who went there), but nevertheless, i am sending in my app today or tomorrow...
here are my stats, and i was just wondering what ppl think my chances are now based on not only my stats, but also how late im applying...</p>

<p>GPA: w- 97.8, u/w- 3.96
rank: 7/460
SATs:2200, m-770, v-740, w-690
SAT IIs: MathII: 710, Eng:660, USHist: 660
APs: 4's on all, Calc AB, English, UShist</p>

<p>EC's: I'd say strong
Student Council (4 years, VP senior year)
Mock Trial (double attorney, state champs, top 10 attorneys in TX, national recognition)
intern and am now working for State Representative in district office (10 hrs/week)
Best Buddies (creates friendships with mentally challenged)- VP 11, 12
Choir (4 years, section leader 11, 12)
tap dancing (8 years, awards etc...)
NHS, Key club= community service</p>

<p>oh wow, you could've gotten in pretty easily with those stats if you applied earlier...</p>

<p>when is the deadline for freshmen? You might be cutting it close...</p>

<p>I like your chances. I don't think you "destroyed" anything ... except that you might have to wait a bit longer for your decision. Had you applied in Oct or even early Nov, chances are you would have received the good news by now. With one good school in the bag, it makes waiting for April 1 so much easier. But you never know. I know one student who applied on the very last day a couple years ago. She got in before the end of February. Good luck.</p>

<p>Yeah, your stats are pretty strong, there aren't any glaring weaknesses as far as I can see. I'd say you still stand a good chance even though you're probably cutting it close to the deadline.</p>
