I'm looking to transfer from De Anza College to San Francisco State, and I just bombed my Physical Geography final. I have a strong enough performance in the class prior to that to survive an F on the final with a C overall, so I can't repeat the class. How to I compensate for screwing up one of my most important subjects so badly when I apply for transfer in the Fall? I normally get As and Bs, so that C will look pretty bad. If I get in, how likely is the C to keep me out of grad school later on? Should I be looking for a new major? I really, really don't want to change my major. I finally found the one that fits me perfectly :/

You are probably fine as long as you have good grades in other major classes
