i think i have a decent chance of getting into VT. am i being too optimistic?

Ok so VT is my absolute dream school. I have loved everything about it for years. I applied early decision and wont know until mid-December if I'm in. It's driving me crazy, so I was wondering if other people think I have a decent chance or not. I have a 3.4 GPA (kinda low, I know, but I submitted an essay explaining why, it was my freshman year's fault full of family problems), I got a 630 reading, 540 math, and 650 writing on SATs. I take almost all honors classes and this year I am taking two dual enrollment classes for college credit. I work 20 hours a week for the past two years and was captain of the girls JV soccer team. I was VP of a school community service club and I'm secretary of Red Cross Club. I am in numerous other clubs and I volunteer a lot with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a summer camp for kids. I am also a first generation college student in my family. I included all of this in my app. and also submitted the 3 optional essay (even tho they went a bit over the 250 word limit). I've done the best I can but I don't know if it's enough. Oh, and I want to major in education, which is not too competitive there. What are my chances? Thanks to anyone who helps.
