the only regent not factored into my grades was the english regent, all others were counted as a fifth quarter
It may hurt a little bit. I would like to think that my poor regents exam scores (85 living environment, 88 algebra 1, 94 earth science, 88 Spanish FLACS) would not hurt my chances at competitive schools, but they likely will. Regents are bs in my opinion bc they are just these extra standardized tests that the rest of America doesn’t have, but they are something NY students have to live with. I hope Cornell doesn’t take too much consideration into these tests, but they may result in a few unexpected rejections. Apply ED and you’ll be okay.
