And I'm kind of depressed about the whole thing.
Do you think I should email the college I turned down and beg for my spot back? Should I just rough it out for a semester?
HELP.

No. Why the change of heart all of a sudden?

rough it out.
what so bad about that college? =/

The college actually mailed me a survey asking why I had rejected their school, and I couldn't think of a very good reason. I realized that I had mainly rejected them because they were a little further away from home, and a little less prestigious. Overall, I'm not CRAZY about the college (obviously, because I already rejected it once) but I can see myself being happy there.

Stick with your decision. You won't accomplish anything waffling around at this point. What you are feeling is natural. It'll pass.

Wolfgang, it's just a little buyer's remorse, not uncommon. Nobody really knows that they will be happy at the college they selected, it's somewhat of a gamble.

Go with a good attitude and expect to be happy, but if after a year you are not satisfied with it, you can transfer. Life is a journey, wolf, enjoy the ride.
