So I just realized, on my academic information for my UCSB TAG application, I accidentally put in Cal State University from Fall 2011-June2012 which is true, but I took an online course from that school this past Summer 2013, so is it supposed to be Fall 2011-Summer 2013???

Will this hurt my chances? Should I withdraw? My UCSB transfer counselor said it doesn't matter and I can just fix it in November when I apply to UCSB.

Also, I attended a CC during Summer 2008 when I was in high school to take a PE class, then I returned to this same CC this past Summer 2013 to take 1 class, and I wrote Summer 2008-2013 attended, and for Recent School I clicked "No"

Hey mereaker, is it bad if I haven’t done anything for TAG yet? Can I complete all this in one day? I have all the paperwork from my HS at my current JC’s admissions and records. I think now I just need to get my counselor to sign off and finish it up online?

My daughter had to submit her high school transcript to her CC because she started before she was 18 years old. Do you need to submit a HS transcript if you start after 18? I am thinking maybe the CC will look at HS transcript and include the HS language in certifying the IGETC…just conjecture…but maybe…

Or else and probably more likely…you may need to submit your HS transcript when you apply to UC and they see the language requirement was met…

If you are completing IGETC you will not need to submit HS transcripts to UCSB. The CC that certifies IGETC will likely use those HS transcripts to see that the two years of foreign language is met. Foreign Language is not an admissions requirement.
