I'm so worried that no UC's will accept me. I'm really want to get into UC Irvine, UC San Diego, and UC Davis.

But with my current GPA, I think I'm done for!

Weighted UC GPA: 3.57
SAT: 1910 (CR-640 M-670 W-600)

SAT Chem: 730
SAT Bio: 700

Extracurriculars
Table Tennis (4 years)
Violin (8 years)

MY GPA IS RUINING ME! Would I even have a chance for UCI, UCSD, UCD!?

Same here (but no UC’s) ! My GPA is killing me too.
But no matter what, all we can do is apply apply apply …
You never know. Don’t give up!

thanks for the motivation but can anyone chance me?!? i’m so nervous and going to hate myself if I don’t get in. :(

you would still chance at uc davis and uc irvine, although slim, and even slimmer at ucsd. glancing at the spectrum of the uc system, you would probably get into ucsc.

if you are really determined to get into those schools or what you think would be better, you should consider 2 years of cc and transfer as a junior.

so would uc irvine be a high/low match?

UCs are large public school that base most of their admission on numbers. They are more transparent and predictable than most privates.

Use the UC StatFinder
[University of California: StatFinder](http://statfinder.ucop.edu/statfinder/default.aspx)

Follow the instructions, on the “Applicant characteristics” page, you can select up to 3 charactertics like GPA, SAT, etc. It will show tables with number of applicants, number of acceptance based on ranges of the characertics selected.

That should give you a good idea of chances.

Good luck.

low reach/high match. i would need more information but that is generally where your stats would lead you.

so would you say I have a alright chance of getting in?

define alright. i, personally, wouldn’t bet on it. you need alternatives other than ucsd and ucd.

What I mean is do I have a chance? And what other colleges would be safety for me within Cali
