At my school, it is required that you need 4 semesters of PE in order to graduate.
I thought that it would be perfectly fine if I just took 3 PE classes my senior year (2 during first semester, 1 during last semester) since I already have one semester of PE done. However, I just found out that no matter how many PE classes you take, they’ll only count one class for credit per semester.
What should I do? No one has ever told me about that rule, and now that I’m a senior it’s too late to only take one P.E. class per semester. Is there any loophole or anything? Will I have to miss my graduation and be a senior for an extra semester just so I can get credit for one lousy PE class?

There was a kid at my school who somehow got the couns. to allow him to slip by...i'd say you will most likely be fine. Settle it soon though. Also if you have ever played a sport that might qualify. In my state the governor seems to think everyone has to do PE or a varsity sport at least once a year to fight obesity. Nevermind that I am not obese and that although I am ranked #15 I practice with varsity anyway....wow I'd love to sock him. I have to take one more semester of gym to grad. so that is my last class of the day...not bad but i'd rather a study hall or another independent study.

My school had required PE, but my academic schedule didn't leave room for it, so I [and many of my friends] took it at the local community college. Are there any options along those lines available to you, and might the counselor waive the "one per semester" rule if you took one of the courses at a CC?

at my school if you have a full academic schedule, you can waive 2 out of 4 of the PE semesters. But a full academic schedule means all core classes and maybe 1 fine arts class. It worked for me, but not everyone.
