I think I'm screwed...

Alright, I might have made one of the biggest mistakes of my life....I applied to Yale SCEA, and I had sent my tax returns and W2 forms and stuff to the school a few weeks ago...and then this last week the envelope is returned...I still haven't figured out exactly why. But the deadline to send in the forms for SCEA was November 1st!

I guess if I'm deferred or rejected I won't really have to worry about it, though...I tried to e-mail the fin aid committee, but they still haven't responded, so I might call them on Monday as soon as their offices open...

So now I'm worried that (in the itsy-bitsy chance that I'm accepted) I'll be denied fin aid and I'll have to take out loans and be in debt up to my eyeballs by the time I've graduated. Does anyone PLEASE have any advice???

Do what you already decided to do: call the financial aid office first thing Monday morning and explain what happened. Hopefully they will be understanding, and it will not be a problem.
