I haven't gotten them back yet but I'm 99% sure they're not good enough for the schools that require them. My SAT I score (2140) is higher than my ACT score (31) but I'm afraid my SAT II's will ruin my application. I have the option of sending just the ACT or my SAT I and II. Should I just send my ACT score or should I still send both?

well how bad did you do? I think there is a rush score option - I’m not sure on that. If you want to, you can send the app with your SAT I and notify them that the SAT II score is coming very soon. Does the app require SAT I and II?

I’m thinking really bad, like 500-600. I’m looking at early decision for a really really selective school and that kind of score is going to trash my application. They require either ACT or SAT I and II together.

I think you should wait until you get your scores and decide then.

I’ll get the scores back October 24th and my counselor wants me to submit by October 30th (official deadline is November 1), do colleges usually still look at scores if they are submitted but not received before the deadline? It says on their website students should submit any existing scores by November 1st so I’m thinking I should be fine

Here are my scores:
Chemistry: 640
Math II: 710
Lit: 680

These are going along with a 2140 SAT Score.

I am looking at applying early decision to Duke (Trinity). Are these scores poor enough to offset my SAT score and should I stick to my ACT score of 31? I know 700+ is considered to be “good” and my lit score is pretty close but I’m so scared these will ruin my application. Thanks

Haha I don’t want to mean, but I think you just stick with the ACT and your SAT I.

I’m required to send SAT II if I send SAT I
