I think some of my papers didn't make it!

My teacher mailed my recommendation to Cornell about 3 weeks ago, and it still hasn't been received according to the updated application status list. Do you think that Cornell is just slow processing it, or is it lost? Should I call the school or should I ask my teacher to send another one before the November 1st deadline expires?

Thanks for your advice!

bump bump!!

Colleges are inundated with paper as the deadlines approach, so it takes time to record receipt of things. But as your teacher’s recommendation was sent three weeks ago, there is no harm in calling or e-mailing Cornell to ask about whether it was received, and if it wasn’t received, ask whether you should have your teacher send another.
