I just received a phone call from the senator’s office to let me know I’m in!!!

They told me they received an email early this morning and that they would like to read it to me (after first asking if I was sitting down). They said a conditional offer of appointment had been given to me provided all my qualifications are met or something like that (DoDMERB is missing a sitting height). Hopefully those who got in are notified today!

For now I’m just going to bounce up and down!

they are definately beginning to send them out. My US Representative called me this afternoon to let me know that I received an appointment! I can't wait until June 28- it's gonna be a blast!

Son received a call from our representative this afternoon that he is in! We've been watching these threads for weeks to see any signs and got very excited when we saw Slingshot 1089's posting this morning.

Congratulations to the others who have also heard the good news!

Congratulations on the GREAT news !!!
Did anyones status on their online application change from Complete to Appointment Offered yesterday ?
Also, if you recieve a Presidential appointment does anyone call or do you just wait for the Fat envelope in the mail ?
Thanks and again Congratulations !!!

757, my D received her Appointment with a Presidential Nomination and was called with the great news by her ALO. In fact, the ALO was excited to call because she said she usually never gets to be the first one to call with the great news because usually her Appointees are appointed via an MOC Nomination and they have to defer to the MOC for the first call. The ALO called the day after the Board met.
