I think we can all agree that the hardest part of the SAT is...

the cursive writing section

well, maybe not for the freaks that always write in cursive...

critical reading.

Agreed! The part that perplexed me most was how to write a URL in cursive.

You had to write in Cursive on the SAT?

^ the agreement or whatever it was to not share questions or something. I forget. There’s always someone who doesn’t know how to write in cursive

Come on, cursive is easy and fast. CR is definitely the hardest section.

OMG I thought it was just me…I haven’t written in cursive since 3rd grade when they MADE you…haha
In all honesty though the math sections confuse me horribly…partly beacause I had a geometry teacher who didn’t like to teach
and math sucks
I got a 450 on it last time :/

writing in cursive was quite the challenge.

I knew what this was going to say as soon as I saw it

Mine was horrible. xD It started out illegible and then morphed into a half-cursive, half-print sort of thing.

I laughed at myself over it. Maybe my 3rd grade teachers weren’t lying when they said I’d need it. :P

But really, math killed me this round.

I’m super serial. Do you have to write in cursive, if so I’m screwed. I haven’t written in cursive since 3rd grade … like everyone. The only use of it right now for me is in Signatures.

^ two or three sentences. And yes, writing the URL was quite the challenge!

The hardest section is always the section you despise the most.

MATH.

I love cursive. It’s pretty, but I didn’t use it on the essay for fear that its legibility would through off the reader!

My preferred cursive script – use block letter, and connect their ends with squiggly lines ;]

And writing, btw, by far. 90 points lower than my next lowest section. :/

Formal english grammar, may you forever burn in the flames of Hades!

Haha, the proctor in our room had to write out a couple of cursive letters on the board.

I’ve always written in a cursive/print hybrid, so it wasn’t a big deal for me.

I highly doubt test graders will be looking at that section with a fine-toothed comb to find errors in formal cursive. As long as it is “not print” i.e. curvy, you’ll be fine.

It said handwriting. The first time I wrote in cursive. The second time I just wrote sloppily.

Hahaha, I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought the cursive part was rough.

Eh, I forgot how to print.

It’s either cursive or all capitalization for me.
