I tried calculating UC gpa, but failed

I tried calculating my UC GPA many times, but it always feels like I’m missing something…anyone mind to take a stab at calculating the points for a lazy high school student?

10th

English 2Honors- B B
Integrated Sci 2 Honors- A A
AP European His - B A
PE A A
Pre-calc/Trig Honors B A
Spanish 2 A A

11th

AP psych A A
AP us history B A
AP Calc B B
English 3 Honors B A
Integrated Sci 3 Honors- A A
Spanish 3 B A

woooo

At a quick glance, I think your UC GA is about 3.63. PE doesn't count, A's are 4 pts, B's are 3 pts, then add 8 wtd. points (max. allowed for UC GPA) and divide by number of semester courses for total.

Uc Gpa = 3.96

It depends on your high school. Some honors classes in your high school may not count as a UC Honors-eligible course. What high school are you attending?

^
Ya you have to Check on the UC website.
Like Biology H, World Civ H and some others don't count as UC Honors- eligible.

It doesn't matter if those classes count as honors. Since the OP has AP Euro, Calc, US, and Psych, that takes up the 8 semesters. So even if those classes do count, the op won't get any extra points for them anyways.

I got 3.95. Added all classes up (sans PE), added 8 points for AP (you took more than 8, but 8 is the max), and divided by number of classes.

87 / 22 = 3.9545

Ah yeah I totally forgot about the 8 semester cap. My bad =)
