So any thoughts?

'GPA: 2.8 at a compedative school"

Hmmm...

He must have gotten an F in Spelling.

no shot at nyu or emerson. sorry.

uvajoe and flopsy- thanks a lot. I think its pretty screwed up that you'd post anything like that on a website where kids put themselves out there on the line, regarding the most important decision of thier lives. I have worked my ass off for the past four years, and just becuase I didnt get a 4.0 like other kids doesnt mean you can make a comment like that. True though, I did mis-spell a few words, but its not as bad as other people's posts...

huskem55- No its fine. Do you think I have a shot at any others? I expect regection from emerson and NYU. I'm applying in case I go to CSF and want to transfer, so they know I've already made an effort to get in and changed what I was lacking.

U of Miami also has a competitive Musical Theatre program

like duh! haha

Well...sorry for sounding harsh, but if you are trying to be taken seriously you should write something in Word first and spell-check. We all spell check and when you want to be taken seriously with average grades on here you need to present yourself professionally.

As for the schools on your list, I'm not sure as I don't know anything about musical performance or theater. All I know is a girl that was in all honors classes and NHS, plus all-district cello got in at Ithica...
