SO I VISITED THE CAMPUS TODAY AND IT WAS GREAT! I really like the campus and such and the tour was amazing! I encourage everyone to go and see it!!! GO GO GO!! THIS WHOLE COLLEGE THING IS QUITE EXCITING. I was given "special treatment" because i was an accepted student with a bunch of Juniors (kind of embarasing). But it was fun!!!

Hey im definately going to take your advice - I've visited Northwestern before....BUT I'm sure itll be WAY better knowing I'm in! I can actually remember touring Northwestern as a sophomore and having a girl in our group who'd been accepted...i can definately relate - i looked at her with a sense of awe..."AAAAAhhh" Ok so I'm lame...But anyways! So what did u think of the residential colleges? Did you get to see inside any of them??

I did not get a chance to see the residential colleges, but they talked about them EXTENSIVELY! They seemed to be an interseting concept, and I think if I were to go to Northwestern I would definitely look into the residential colleges. It would be nice to build relationships with people in that manner. But I dont know!!!

I visited NU a couple years ago, wasn't that impressed... now that Im accepted, and have seen other colleges, I remember teh campus with a lot more respect. I stayed with my brother In PARC (public affairs residential college)... pretty cool setup. the "suite" thing was pretty innovative and awesome at the time (a group of 6 or 8 rooms around a lounge area) but more colleges have that now.. its still pretty cool. The Res halls seemed pretty ordinary, the food was pretty good (i had some trouble using the waffle-maker in the commons, i remember).... definitely STOKED about my acceptance, can't wait to visit in a couple weeks.

i think it's about time i revisited as well. i loved it this summer, but it would be good to talk to a student who goes there now. it appears it's probably between this and wash u for me, unless something miraculous happens w/ princeton, so i need to get good info. have any of you looked into the greek life, i know it's big there.

i woudlnt say that its big, at all. Its certainly there, but res hall life is its own world entire... and frat life at NU is nothing like frat life at, say, texas tech.

Yes well... I'm sure NU's frats differ slightly from Umich frats as well. I mean, there is no Umich football at NU, and therefore no MASSIVE parties. I have walked by on occasion.
But I'd still like to know about it. I think I'd like to know as much as possible atm.

I love how I'm still a "New Member" despite joining in Dec, and TheCity joined in Feb...

Haha, well hrsraddish, you're now a Junior Member. congrats. :D

i tink it has to do with posting number ...
