I visited today...

I just wanted to say that I drove to NYC today from Delaware and I was up at NYU, in the bookstore. There were a lot of newly accepted people buying merchandise there (one kid had like 4 hoodies and it made me laugh). And although I'm quite jealous, I just wanted to congratulate everyone who got in! Great, great work.

And for everyone who is not accepted (which will probably include me, if they ever decide to send me a letter), I wanted to congratulate you too. Let your personal and academic accomplishments remind you of the excellent person you truly are. You have all assuredly worked your ass off in and out of the classroom, so don't sell yourself short.

I am not gonna lie. NYU was the one dream I've always had. And after today, I'm really convinced that the city is where I belong. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're like me (completely stubborn to the 'NYC or bust' idea), you're totally not alone. Maybe we can party it up at Fordham. See you in Manhattan, class of '09.

Good luck everyone.

haha i think i was the one with four hoodies... if you're blond... i might have seen u- I was in about 1 pm or so. Dark hair-- with mom and grandpa

Yeah I was in there. No blonde hair though. And if you said something like "I really like the brown one" then you're damn fine. :)

Haha... yes... I got the brown one!! Nice, right? I was deciding between brown and purple- so I ended up with both :)

What did you buy!?

i dont have $60 to buy a hoodie lol

lol... I justified the money via scholarships, hehe

Mhmm you did good. I got a t-shirt to compensate for the one I didn't buy from Pace, where I visited (what kind of bookstore is closed on the weekend?). I figure that with my chances, I shouldn't spend any more than $15.
