The title says it all. I graduated with a bachelor degree in computer science. I have now worked for a year and i wanna go back to school to graduate with a masters degree.
The thing is that i have never had any research or something similar done. I graduated with a GPA of 3.6 from UCI. I am sure that i could score well on the GRE but i dont know if im screwed because of my non existent reaserch experience? What would my chances be at UCSB and similar schools?
You don’t need to have done research for a master’s degree, especially if you want a professional master’s degree. The advice to get research experience is really more for PhD programs. Academic master’s programs will prefer it, but you can probably go to some programs without it. Professional master’s degrees likely won’t care much at all - your work experience will be good.
