<p>Hey everyone, I'm a junior right now and I just want to know where I stand. I really want to go to Harvard. Please chance me. I would appreciate any criticism.</p>

I hope to submit a paper to Siemens and Intel STS. </p>

I am going to do USABO and USAChO this year.

<p>Your ECs seem scattered, your GPA is low for any ivy and you are an ORM, so basically it is rather unlikely. Do you have a reason for the low grades sophomore year? You have to remember that Harvard rejects almost everybody who applies, you practically have to be super-human to get in.</p>

<p>Why does everyone value the hypsmc schools so much? Yes, they are (for the most part) fantastic schools. However, you should go where you want, not where the most prestigious name is.</p>

<p>Maybe have a chance but probs not. Not trying to sound mean, but I read up to JV Tennis and already knew you were an Indian applicant. All of the Indians at my school that applied early to Ivies had the same/similar ECs, majors, and grades as you and got rejected.

<p>ArtsyGirl13, what do you mean my ECs are scattered? Im just wondering. As for my grades, I just had some problems in my family and I wasnt able to focus on my school work. I knew what was happening and I learned everything, I just didnt perform well on tests and I wasnt able to pick myself back up. </p>

<p>arb1995, I only want to go to Harvard because I truly want to. People say it’s really hard to get into, and that only makes me want to go even more. I dont want to go to the HYPSM schools because of their prestige, but because I think I would be a good fit. </p>
