Help!
Thanks.

If you're IS, you're probably in. SAT may be a little low, but you have a strong UW GPA, with alot of honors.

OOS, but I applied late Sept? Also worked 3 summers at a golf course.

You still have a chance. Like I said SAT is a little low, but you have a strong GPA and a tough curriculum.

Thanks SFO, anyone else, PLEASE!

tough call here....

SAT is pretty low (under lower 25%), ACT won't help you too much (but it is in middle 50%)

honors classes look good, and GPA looks decent. However, I'm not sure how the admissions people would look upon the somewhat lowish nature of the GPA.

Rank might hurt you a little (Clemson boasts it has something like 70% in the top 20% of HS)

Varsity letters are nice, but unless you're a recruited athlete I don't think they'll matter much.

7th semester GPA won't matter unless you've actually sent them a mid-year transcript...

service hours look alright. not sure if the Geo club means anything or not, but leadership is good, nonetheless

I'll give you about 45% chance of acceptance. I think SAT is what holds you back. Unless you're from a state that is highly underrepresented at Clemson (Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, New Mexico, etc.)

Thanks, I did send in 7th semester grades and I am from Indiana? I hope I make it. Has anyone else heard...stats?

golfer,
your test scores are putting you near the bottom of the applicant pool. being from Nh will probably help you

are you being recruited for golf? are you good enough to be a walk on? I guess a lot depends on your curriculum (causing big difference between UW and W GPA)

really tough call, GL

it can be found here http://www.clemson.edu/oir/commonDataSet/Admission.htm

If you google a school name and common data set their admit stats usually show up as a link on their .edu website

Thanks to you both, I sure hope I can make it. Yeah the W GPA's are hard to figure out at our school. No one truely knows how they work. I'm alright at golf in NH, but nothing like the golfers from the south, maybe if i could play year round lol. Hard to play with snow on the ground up here. I wish i could improve my SAT's but I'm simply not a good test taker. I guess it all depends on what they care about the most. Thanks again
