I Want In!!!

my stats are not really up to par for northeastern standerds, but i really love the school. It is my second choice so i don't want to do ED-so should i do ea or rd? im not sure if there is a larger acceptance rate in either of those pools?

i have really good awards/activites/leadership just not the greatest act and gpa-basically what can i do to get in this school?!

Well definitely apply EA, but beyond that I'm not really sure what you can do. Retake the act and sat and try to get your GPA as high as possible first semester next year (if you don't get in EA they will more than likely request mid-year grades). Writing a really good admissions essay will also help. You can even try applying undecided as I think those admissions requirement are a little easier than other colleges at Northeastern University. Other than that all I can really do is wish you good luck and hopefully everything will work out.

Definitely go early action.

I don't think they offer ED. Acceptance rates can be misleading due to differences in the applicant pool. If you are interested, show your interest by applying EA.

The first thing you should do is RESEARCH the school. Read the website, figure out what options there are. It is clear you haven't done that yet. NEU offers non binding EA. They do not have ED. Go to the admissions page and read carefully the information which is above plus everything else. There is a spot I have posted before where you can email the regional admissions counselor for your area. Think up some intelligent questions and email the counselor. Go visit the school to show interest.
