did you really write that, or is it just the classic old method of copy and paste.

Of course I didn't write that. Copy and paste. It was posted toward ChaosTheory.

yes i REALLY am very stupid. I'am not usually like this??

There's no such thing as stupidity.................................................................well, maybe there is but I doubt you are:).

I honestly love you right now Penn, that comment really boosted up my confidence level. LOL

Penn, what 3rd world country did you live in?
I only know about Egypt. and there's no such thing as ECs here either..(other than sports as I mentioned earlier.

I used to live in Nigeria.

I didn't know Nigeria is 3rd world....

Well, all African nations are third world, aren't they?

stuck-on-1700, you mean that you don't anything except sports and homework/school?
Just for notice: hanging out on CC is a EC too ;)

^that post is missing a word or two so I didn't entirely get it. But,.. the intellectual side of me has never experinced anything other than homework and school (I hate sports); and a few books.
For some reason, there is never a lack of places to go to socialize. But the places to go build brain cells are very rare.

Thanks for the link :)

Our school newspaper is award winning and I'm running for editor so if you have any questions pm me! First, you should make announcements of post something on the bulletin board of your school if anybody would be interested in joining the newspaper. You should ask a journalism or English teacher if he/she is interested in supervising your idea and then you both consult the principal. The journalism/media arts teacher in our school helps us with the paper, she's new and the old teacher who led us to all those wins left:(. But anyways, the fact that you are taking the initiative to start a newspaper in your school is a wonderful idea. Do not give up on the idea! PM me for any info and I will be happy to help you get started, and it is not too late.

You make it sound so easy to do the whole thing. But it does make me more determined to get this thing started;even if it does end when I leave.

Believe me when I first joined the present editor made it sound so easy too but you just have to be committed to it. The thing is you should always have a junior member/editor so when you leave they continue the whole thing. Brainstorm ideas on different sections of the paper, perhaps even a name for it, and then present the idea to your teacher.

well, the name is simple. The only thing I could think of was naming it after the school.(Pioneers..) but I still don't know if it'll be a weekly or a monthly. It most definately will not be a daily! That is for sure!

update

To tell you the truth, I sort of let go of the idea for a while because my school didn't even want to listen to my ideas (and because they were preping for a visit by a government official).
But, yesterday, my English teacher from last year (one of the few Americans in the school, and did not even know that I wanted a paper) came up to me and said:
"I was thinking of starting a newspaper here in the school, you were the first person I though of. Would you like to participate?"
I of course was thrilled and immediately agreed...

^^ That's so wonderful! I'm so happy for you, since I know it is something you've been wanting to do for awhile now. Time was all that it took. Keep up the good job and Good Luck.

Thanks, We've already started discussing a few ideas for the paper. The first issue should be ready in a few weeks. I'm glad everything turned out the way I had hoped (even if it did take a whole month).
