I want to apply early decision but.....

Dear Admission Daniel or anyone who can help me,
I want to apply early decision to Johns Hopkins but im taking the sat on October 14 and the score won't be available until November 2 and the deadline for early decision is November 15. I have already taken the sat one time, but i might do better on the october sat so i don't want to send my application just yet. And if i do wait for my sat score will my application arrive on time? Also, will i be at a disadvantage applying near the deadline date? Do they see that as procrastination?

other questions i have (sorry i have so many)
1) do i have to send all my sat scores?
2) im taking the sat subjects tests in november, the scores will be available on november 28, will they still accept it if im applying early decision?
3) Could someone explain what BME is?
4) What essays are required if i do the common application? do i have to do a common app essay and the two johns hopkins essays?

Thanks in advance and sorry for all the questions

1) If you send one of your SAT scores, you have to send all of them.

2) I'm pretty sure the October test is the last chance you have for early, but maybe you can rush deliver the November one, but double check on that.

3) BME= Biomedical Engineering, which is a major that is different than the others in that it is a special program that you must apply to that is also very competitive at Hopkins. This means you could get denied from the major, but could still be accepted into Hopkins.

4) It is strongly recommended that you do the JHU supplement essays if you apply via Common App.

Also I have the same question as hotaruchan about the October SAT score issue, can someone please fill me in?

October SAT is fine for early Decision. No rushing is required.

(2) See the final paragraph on our standardized test pages (<a href="http://apply.jhu.edu/apply/testreqs.html)%5B/url%5D">http://apply.jhu.edu/apply/testreqs.html)</a>. Scroll to the bottom and read a "Note on Standardized Tests."

(3) BME = Biomedical Engineering. Learn more here: <a href="http://www.bme.jhu.edu/innovations/area1/a1_main.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.bme.jhu.edu/innovations/area1/a1_main.htm</a> (If you are not interested in Engineering then you should not apply to this major.
