I want to be an accountant and take cpa, UC or CSU is a good way to go?

HElp please!!! :((

Are you in-state?

yes

No one ■■■■■■■ answer me here

SDSU, but it is impacted.

Cal Poly Pomona has a good accounting program. I know a graduate whom was recruited prior to graduation in 2012 and is doing very well.

OP: you might want to edit your post #3, it certainly doesn’t make people want to help you.

My $.02, as a CPA that has been out of undergrad for ~ 25 years now. You can’t reality go wrong with either. When I worked at (then) Big 6 firms, I knew people from UCLA, UCSB, UCI, USC, SDSU, CSULB, LMU, CSUF, Cal Poly, Cal, Stanford, etc. Perhaps the bigger issue is if you know where you want to live and work when you graduate, you might be better served by going to school in the area. If you want to work in the bay area, you may be better served attending SJSU than CSUF (for example).

I know UCSB has a solid accounting program

An idea of your qualifications will help direct you to an appropriate school. Most of the schools listed above are pretty selective. There are good accounting programs at mid tier CSUs too. Chico, Sacramento, Sonoma are well regarded in No Cal.

Are you a soon to be HS Grad or a transfer student? What are your grades/test scores?

I would suggest SDSU; their business programs are impacted and are really good, but if you have really good stats, you might get in.
