I want to be an English major, but a lot of my volunteer ec's are medical related

Is this a problem?

As a high school student, I feel like I have a lot of strengths. One of my strongest strengths is with the sciences--I want to be a lawyer though. The scientist, or doctor life is not for me. I love law, and writing over science.

It just so ended up that most of my volunteering and leadership ec's are related to the medical/science field: volunteering at a hospital, starting up, and being the leader of a hospice teenage volunteer program. When colleges ,that I will be applying to, see that medical/science areas are my interests will they be like, "***?" when they see that I want to be an english major?

I hope this made sense.

Lol, just because you volunteered at a hospital doesn't mean you have to be a doctor. You can be w/e you want. Colleges just like to see the ECs, they have no impact on what you major in or anything.

they wont care at all. Hell if you're THAT worried put down a science as your major and just switch it as soon as you're admitted.
