I want to become a Commercial Real Estate Developer.

What should I study in college if I want to become a Commercial Real Estate Developer? Should I do something like Economics or Business Administration? HELP!!

RE development is a team effort and the team members/partners typically bring various skill sets to the deals including: finance, accounting, marketing, legal, design, engineering and construction. I think a great educational foundation for a RE developer is a civil engineering, construction, city planning or architecture undergrad degree, followed by a few years work experience, then an MBA or JD at a top-notch full time program like Wharton; or from a night school or extension program - while still working.
