I want to become a computer engineer, but my math is lacking

So ever since I was a little kid, I’ve had a very big interest in electronics and coding. I’ve done things like etched my own circuits, designed them, programmed MSP430 micro controllers, come up with my own data sequence for WS2812 RGB LEDs, worked with GPS, I know JavaScript, Ruby, C, Basic, Objective-C, HTML, CSS, PHP, and Assembler. Currently, I’m a senior in High School and will be graduating this fall and plan to attend a university and go for a computer engineering degree. But, here’s the problem. I’m not a math whizz. When I was a freshman in HS, I could hardly add two numbers together without using my fingers. That made me extremely depressed and since then I’ve worked very hard on it. (I’m home schooled so I’ve had to teach myself). I’ve improved a ton and am finishing up Trig. I love doing math problems and could do them all night, but when I look at what’s on the placement test for my university, it makes me cry because it just doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to do it. I like math, but I’m just terrible at it for whatever reason. I’m so far behind, but I really, really want to go into the line of work that computer engineers do because it’s what I’ve grown up loving at heart. I have a feeling I’ll bomb the placement test and be put in a starter class like intermediate algebra or worse. Do I have any hope? I’m willing to work, but am I just too far behind to see any signs of hope in pursing this degree? Is there something better for me? Thanks.
