I am junior in High School and i want to be a diplomat! Surprisingly i speak 4 languages fluently and learning two more (Spanish/French). My question is whether it’s okay to do an undergrad program in England and then do Masters in USA…i mean that’s good enough right or there is something else…

Dude, that’s so inspiring. I’ve been between wanting to become a doctor and a diplomat for several years now, and I’m trying to write an application essay where the question is pretty much,“If you could study anywhere for a year, where would you go?” I really don’t know what to write about, so I was just procrastinating by googling things about both. That gives me great ideas. Thank you so much!

Okay, I’m thinking about studying abroad during high school, where should I study? Would Japan be okay, because I’d really want to go there, but if that’s not the best place to go then where is?

Being in Model United Nations help pursuing the career of a diplomat, right?

Also, would I be able to become a diplomat of Japan if I’m currently a US citizen? I mean, I am Japanese but would I have to take a test, or marry a Japanese guy to become a citizen?

I’m only in middle school, (Am I weird for already thinking about these things?) but I was thinking of attending Todai, University of Tokyo. Would that be a bad decision? What should a diplomat have majored in, and what kind of degree should I get?

Anyway, if anyone could answer my questions I’d be really happy!

Thanks, bye-Bye (≧▽≦)
