I want to build moon colonies

Hi I was wondering if I could get anyone's advice on which major to choose if I'm interested in designing and testing advanced hydroponic greenhouses, with the ultimate goal of helping design or build some of the first moon greenhouses.

Maybe there are some universities that have departments working on this already! Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

Regards,

That won’t be happening anytime soon, since Obama cut Funding to NASA, mainly in the Space shuttle/Moon program.

I am open to studying abroad.

The space shuttle has been set to be eliminated for many many years, and it’s far from Obama’s fault.

Your best bet would probably be to get involved with NASA. I know at the moment one of the people I’m working with is in the middle of writing a proposal where the guidelines were basically to think of something awesome from a sci-fi book and figure out what we need to get there.

If you’re interested in greenhouses in particular, you may want to look into schools with strong agricultural programs.

Our country is in a state of decline. Space exploration was a luxury back in the US’s heyday in the 60’s and 70’s but right now the US has more pressing concerns like not going bankrupt funding the social entitlements of the babyboomers, how not to have mass unrest from a generation of Americans jobless and dispossessed.
