I want to change my wardrobe for college

@forzworn

What I like is what you like.

Work out and then EVERYTHING looks good

@ porkperson.

But my arms are scrawny and its embarrassing; all the real men, they look at me funny.

I wanna wear clothes so they can cover up my scrawniness

Polos, Athetic Shorts, I’m buying some plaids/khaki shorts for next year, buying some new sneaks and sperrys. :]

What are sperrys?

^Adorable boat shoes.<333

Relatively easy way to hide this in the winter: Get long sleeved sweaters/button ups. Roll the sleeves up to just below the elbow. It make it seem like your upper arms are larger than they are, especially considering most people’s forearms are about the same size.

MIT’s style sounds genius to me. There is no man who does not look better in a suit. I’m very bad at ranking things, but it probably moves most guys at least 1.5 points on a scale of 10. Suits are beast.

But, if you’re not into that level of formality, try to stick to button downs and khakis at the very least. When you wear jeans, wear a dark wash and neither a straight leg nor a skinny cut. Since no one cares/notices when you rewear basics like that, invest in quality rather than quantity. Oxfords (with sweaters over them in the winter) and button downs are choice. When you wear a dress shirt, get those ones with the white collar; every girl I know prefers them. Iron your clothes. A lot of men I know love plaid for some reason, so try it out, just in a shirt rather than pants. Try to keep from pastels as they either come off as preppy or just wrong. The color palette I like best consists of burgundies and forest green, but you must find something that works for your skin. Avoid the color found in your undertone. Above all, believe in fit.

“Avoid the color found in your undertone.”

Great advice, but what does this mean? :)

^It might be described as the shade “under” one’s skin. The color your skin suggests, perhaps. Some people are olive, some yellow, some red, some blue. In general, it’s harder to pull off that shade – especially as a shirt, since one’s torso is given more attention than one’s legs. You should be able to tell upon looking in the mirror. If you can never tell, then it’s nothing with which to concern yourself.

Try blazers. Buy 1-3 high-quality neutral color (like navy blue) blazers. Makes every outfit beneath look good and expensive. :)

just stop caring about what you wear
just wake up and throw on jeans or shorts and a polo or hoodie or tshirt and that’s all it takes for a guy to be sexy
