Hey Guys!
I’m not going to post stat’s I just want to know what you think.

I want to get into a well known college across America. It doesn’t have to be an IVY LEAGUE just a good, well known school, with a little class

My problems:
I have been kicked out of 2 boarding schools. That isn’t going to help much and I know it.

I do however have decent grades. My freshmen year was D’s and C’s, as for my sophomore year…B’s and C’s. Fell in with the wrong crowd, so you could speak. But this is my junior year and I have a 4.0 GPA at a private school.

My extra cirriculars are weak. Really weak. I played soccer for the 2 boarding schools, and I was part of the Key Club at one of them. But now, I’m not doing anything.

I am at a private school, so I guess that helps out??

Let me know please what you think and where I could go.
Oh and by the way, money is not an object!

Well, no more partying or skipping for you. I suppose you could start fresh and try to get better grades and participate more. And go back to playing soccer and be more active in Key Club. Show people that you really are changing and want to get into a good school.

You might have a chance if grades are outstanding for Junior and Senior year, if teachers are prepared to write strong recommendations, if you could write an essay about where you went wrong and how and why your "reformed", and perhaps if you either a) attended a community college or othe local school for one year with excellent grades or b) did a gap year emphasizing community service--unselfish effort on behalf of improving other people's lives...in this way, you could "redeem" yourself with 3 years of "good conduct" and strong achievement.

You should also be thinking more about what you want to study and why... just wanting "a well-known college with a little class" still betrays some immaturity and egotism. Unless your family has enough money to donate a building or endow a professorship, a reputable college will expect to see some evidence of strong character and life goals or sense of purpose, and/or perhaps stellar sports performance.

I can't imagine your private school will help much because unless your the son of a senator or Fortune 500 cEO, chances are the school that took you after getting kicked out of 2 others isn't ranked very high. How good were the boarding schools you attended? There are lots of tier 2 schools that will take almost anyone who can pay. Choose where you want to be and look of the schools with a 70 plus percent admit rte. Get the best recs you can and apply widely. Keep straight and do well for 2 years and transfer.

u need STRONG recomendations and good ec's... if i were u i would probably try to up my volentary hours over the summer... it will make u look good, and also get a job??
