I want to go into pharmacy and i saw this

program at ucsd: Seven-Year B.S. Chemistry/Doctor of Pharmacy Program. Is it hard to get into this program? Would I select my major as Chemistry or Pharmacological Chemistry? Also of the 6 colleges which one should be my number 1 choice? revelle?

yaya .

It's a really hard program to get into. Skaggs is a good school, you will have to get really good grades for them to consider you.

You have to be chemistry, biochem/chem, or pharmacy/chem.

Skaggs is relatively new right?

yeah, its new but it only selects like 70 for the school per year. i can see ucsd's pharm school going up in ranks exponentially. probably even top 5 in the nation in a few years.

Is it better if i go to ucsd and get my bs in Chemistry at ucsd then go to skaggs, or going to ucB or UCLA for bs in chemistry then going to skaggs? or does it not matter..?

i heard skaggs only accepts about 6 students from ucsd a year

really? :|... what other pharmacy schools are there in california?

<a href="http://www.uspharmd.com/school/California/%5B/url%5D">http://www.uspharmd.com/school/California/</a></p>

I'm not going into pharmacy but some friends have said that it's pretty difficult to get into a ca pharm school if you don't have a competitive gpa. not trying to discourage you but ya...keep that gpa up

im still senior in high school, but yea, i wanna see how competitive it is.

my sister was in the second class of skaggs. in her year, they accepted only 30 students. the school just recently got certified.
