<p>Man, I’ve been browsing the brown website and looking at all the courses and everything and I am drooling. </p>

<p>i'm really really really really excited! i've bookmarked about 15 different pages on the brown website, my family bought out the online store, and i've been talking nonstop to the few people i know at brown. </p>
<p>i'm still in shock, even after 3 weeks. i can't believe i'm going!! =)</p>
<p>You know what I can't believe? I can't believe that I now have the opportunity to learn sanskrit, gaelic, and middle egyptian! Call it useless if you like, but that's like academic porn right there.</p>
<p>See, I've been sick of everyone in my high school for over a year now, and I've hated the area in which I live for even longer (it's really republican, and there's just nothing to do). My schoolmates are all so immature and unwilling to engage in any sort of intelligent conversation. I've outgrown them. It feels like I'm still in middle school, what with the attention whoring and obnoxious outbursts from the kids who can only be described as "douchebags." I need new friends, new experiences, and new girls.</p>

<p>I only hope to be sharing the same sentiments as you all in early april. i'm an RD applicant who cannot stop talking about Brown to my parents. i try to deny myself that brown is my 1st choice to save myself from utter disappointment in april (just in case). glad to know that brown is such an awesome school that everyone is excited!!</p>

<p>btw, i only used that word to question the relationship between one's homosexuality and opinions on high school that two other posters supposedly saw. it's not in my vocabulary. dcircle, you were probably talking about the other people, but I just wanted to clarify. I wasn't calling anyone anything, but maybe I still shouldn't have used that word.</p>

<p>omg yes on the plus side, i'm using up so much energy caring about brown that i don't really care about anything that happens before brown, which is kinda relaxing :D</p>
