I want to go to Elon University so badly.

<p>Elon is my top choice. I want to apply early decision because I visited and absolutely adored it. However, my grades are nothing like some of the other people on this website which makes me worry. I'm definitely not the ideal candidate =/ please chance me.</p>

<p>Backround and info:
-white female
-junior
-from NJ
-going to school at one of the top 500 high schools in the country
-Intending on majoring in History</p>

<p>My Stats:
-GPA: 3.56
-SAT: 1720
-RANK:150/338</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-100 hours volunteering at a Preschool
-100 hours volunteering with Habitat for Humanity
-I also have had a part-time job for the last 2 years.</p>

<p>I am much more intelligent than my stats may indicate. Freshman year, I unfortunately slacked off and I'm now paying for it. I also wish I could of participated more in my school but I am trying to just look at the positives in my transcript. Chance and i'll chance back! just leave your link.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good chance, especially ED. GPA is within their range but SATs may be a little low.</p>

<p>Perhaps take the SAT one more time if possible and make sure your essays are as well written as possible. You have a solid chance.</p>

<p>I think you have an alright chance. It will, honestly, be a sort of reach. But it is still within your range pretty well and ED will help a lot.

<p>Applying Early, particularly ED, makes a big difference at Elon IIRC. I think it’ll still be a low reach, but not out of the realm of possibility.</p>
