<p>i really really want to go to jhu. here are my stats:</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0
SAT 1: 1700
SAT 2s: 720 US history, 620 Spanish
APs: us history (this year). Next year: chem, english, calculus</p>

<p>ECs:
student government, tutor 3 students, piano--8 years, varsity swimming</p>

<p>what are my chances?</p>

<p>You NEED to get your SAT up. 1700 isn't gonna cut it.</p>

<p>JHU: Reach.</p>

<p>JHU will be a real reach for you. There are almost no students admitted with SATs beneath 1900 and the vast majority are 2100+.</p>

<p>yeah swimming will carry you a certain distance but i think you need a 2100+ on the SAT to have a shot</p>
