I started out freshman first trimester with a 3.53 then I'll end junior year with a 3.88ish. Is this a rising trend? BTW, there's no discernable trend in the middle. It fluctuated more than the Dow Jones.

Freshman 1st Trimester: 3.53
Junior 3rd Trimester: 3.88+/-.05 (this term)
Lowest I ever got: 3.27 (2nd trimester, jr yr)
Highest I ever got: 3.88 (3rd trimester, frosh yr)
CUM: 3.55+/-.02

If you want to get into NYU, I think you should increase the GPA a little bit. I got rejected with a similar GPA (i think my final gpa was a little low) and an SAT score in the same range.

With a GPA in that range, the SAT is too low. At least one of the two needs to go up considerably if you want to have a shot. Since GPA is pretty much set, get studying on the SAT. If you are able to land 2250+, you will be a solid candidate.

Hey I think youre taking it hard on yourself at Gtown- McDonough. I'd say you have a great shot at McDonough and Tepper. I say 40/60 or 50/50 if you get those SATs 2100+.
