year long internship?

nope...wont help u at all...

it wont? or are u being sarcastic?

It completly depends on your other stuff, SAT's, GPA, Extra Curriculars, essays, and personality in the interview. If that stuff is good, the internship will help distinguish you. However, it wont make up for a low SAT (1300s) or bad grades.

generally, if you have an internship in high school, you either are working the copy machines or data entry, or you got the job through connections.

i'm sure any internship helps, but it would be supplemental and won't compensate for a low GPA or SAT's.

its a program where i do a project and submit a professional portfolio of the stuff i did while i was there...meaning not copies and such. but more stuff of substance.
