Your GPA is way low. Your SAT scores aren't that high either, but they're not that bad (and your minority/1st gen. college status will help with that). I think your GPA is much more of a disadvantage to you than test scores. So, I'd say... not gonna happen.

Good luck, though. There isn't really a point in worrying too much over this. And the opinions of random people on the internet should not carry any weight for you--so I recommend sticking it out for 19 days (or however long you have to wait for decisions) and going with the flow, whatever decision you get. "Chance" threads are pointless.

If he attends a top boarding school his GPA may not be too low. If you read the posts by AdOfficer, kids from top preps are looked at differently. If you've gone to a strong boarding school, are a URM on scholarship and done pretty well, Williams is a good shot, especially if you can play a sport there.

Interesting article in the NYTs this week about how top high schools just keep better better and most in the Country decline.

I hope i can get in i really dig liberal arts education and small schools cuz mines tiny

edit: why did you post this if you already got in, elchingon?

Well i posted this to prove the fact that numbers are not the only determinants of getting in
While they do play a major role, it is important to understand that other factors matter
