I plan on majoring in Chemistry with Pre-Medicine

What are my chances???
Thanks for your opinion.

I think that you've got a good shot at gaining admittance. Your class rank is great, but I'm a little confused with reading that you've only taken 3 AP's by the time of graduation. How could you be so highly ranked with so little AP's? Not knowing your grading scales, skews things a little. But, class rank speaks above the differences in grading scales>>>so that's definitely in your favor.
Your SAT score is low, but your EC's are good/interesting/and clearly show devotion. UVA is one of the best schools on the planet for diversity issues. So, the fact that you are obviously a strong student, IS, URM, with great EC's: I would bet that you are in!! Best of luck. Do well on your essays.

Thanks, powderpuff. I think our school gives quality points to people who are in ec's and complete dual-enrollment programs. Last semester i was sixth and after John Tyler, I jumped up to third. AP Classes/Advanced Level classes count 5 points for As and other classes count 4 points for As.

You will be offered substantial scholarship money.

How does getting into UVa look for those who are in the military? I graduated high school with the same stats (for the most part) as gurinthasticks but i am at West Point Prep for now. Any thoughts?

If you're white or asian you will absolutely need to retake the SAT if you want a decent shot.
