my son is a student in grade 10 in china.he want to apply the major of statistics and machine learning or math.i want to know something about reaching the goal.thanks.
He needs to look at each school that he hopes to attend and look at their admissions requirements for coursework to be taken at his high school.
He also needs to see if any of the colleges, that he is interested in attending, will be affordable. The US universities are very expensive and very few will provide scholarships. You need to plan for four years of attendance.

The Common Data Set (CDS) may be of interest, although it does not breakdown by major. You can look up the CDS for any university, by the way. Section C includes the student profile.

CMU used to publish admit rates and profiles of admitted students by school, but it has stopped doing so since the pandemic. The previously published data are here:

I don’t know if all of the universities report all of the statistics of international students.
Since your son will be applying as an international candidate, his chances are very limited.
What you should be researching is if the universities have the majors/course of study that he is seeking. Just because he plans to apply, this does not guarantee any admission, anywhere, in any US college. Remember that the US colleges and universities prioritize domestic applicants.
