I want to start my thread over again...

ello all,

I am currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University college in Carbondale, IL. The school here is terrible and I really want to transfer. The school is ok but I find that I want to get the Big 10 experience and the more traditional college experience rather than not.

I am a 24 year old hispanic male. I am a high school dropout and have a GED. I now have 48 credits at SIU and a 3.098 GPA. I am studying Sociology and wish to continue my studies at IU. I have steadily brought my grades up since my 2nd semester at SIU where they declined (due to personal reasons).

What would I have to do to transfer to IU?

Thanks.

You should be able to transfer without any problems. Just apply so that you arrive at Indiana after getting 60 units at SIU. Plus make sure that classes you are taking correspond to the ones you'll need for your major at IU.

Good luck.

I have taken only 2 Sociology classes at SIU for this reason.
