I don’t know how it works at community colleges since I’ve never heard of someone transferring from one CC to another. But in general, not “could” you send the transcript, you’re actually supposed to.

I don’t get what’s so complicated about the idea of reporting everything. You have to do what the application says. Now, you can get away with breaking the rules as long as you understand that’s what you’re doing and you now have a little responsibility to keep the other college from finding out.

Yeah I dont know why someone would keep it from the school. Dont you have to have atleast a 2.0 in a class for the school to accept it for transfer anyway? 2.0 is a C, correct?

How’d your sister manage to do that? I’ve had almost 2 years of college, not sure if it matters whether I transfer or start over but I’m absolutely hating my college experience. I realized that I want a completely different major that this college doesn’t offer many courses in and the classes I’m taking either bore the hell out of me or are just plain mind boggling thanks to the not so well taught professors. GPA isn’t too shabby nor below average, probably enough to get me through another door, but it’d be really nice to start somewhere else that I like and not have to deal with much of my past beyond just explaining it.

Savinggrace, cdover has not posted on CC in over two years and this thread is three years old. How about starting a new one before posters start answering the OP?

@cdover You said your sister went to three colleges, each time starting as a freshman. Do you mind if I ask you how she went about doing this? Wouldn’t they list her as a transfer if she attended more than one university?
