I want to switch BC Calculus to AB Calculus

<p>Hi, I have finished a semester of AP Calculus BC but it totally ruined by grade. I was an A/A+ student freshman and sophomore year, but my first semester of my junior year I got low Bs in Calc. My counselor says I can switch out to AP Calculus AB for the second semester if I'm worrying about my grades. I want to apply to some good schools and was wondering if it looks bad on my app if it says I dropped from BC to AB in the middle of the year even if my grades became better. Would it look worse to get low 80s in BC Calc but stay in it, or to switch out to AB Calc and get high 90s?</p>

<p>Well... in my school, AB is just as hard as BC but I wouldn't know... </p>

<p>I'd go for the A but colleges can already see that you switched out and that could be a minus...</p>
