Hi. I want to switch out of Hamerschlag. How can I do this?

chances are if you don't know how to switch you haven't lived on campus, and if you haven't then you might want to give it a chance

if you do then you'll have to file a request with housing and dining and get on the waitlist (consider the fact that some people are going to be in temporary housing and that some students from last year have already filed a request). You may be successful if you want to live in an off campus apartment...otherwise you might have less luck. Kids in temp housing will have priority on the list iirc.

i just want any coed dorm. which is the easiest coed dorm to get?

There are 50 other guys in your dorm that feel the same way, and chances are that none of you will be able to move before school starts because there are people in temp housing who are in worse shape. Most guys that live in Hamerschlag find that they really do like it, and by the time it would be possible to switch dorms, they don't want to bother with it.

Don't worry. A lot of girls go hang out in Hamerschlag.

As the parent of a son who switched into Hamerschlag, I agree with KrazyKow. He was very pleased with the entire experience.
