What are the best ones you’ve heard of? I can’t seem to find any threads on MFA Acting programs. I personally have heard there are many MFA Acting programs but few worth going to. Some obvious great ones I’ve heard of are Yale, NYU, and UCSD. I’ve heard of URTA to go out and audition for all these places but Yale and NYU are not on the attendees list. Is there another way to audition for Yale, NYU, etc. all at once or do I need to audition for them individually?
ACT in San Francisco, UC Irvine, and Juilliard are tops too.
Here’s a good list to start with:

However, you might want to rethink Harvard after their unflattering mention here:

The problem with expensive acting programs probably applies to more than Harvard, however, in that most actors salaries may never make enough to justify the cost.
Yale certainly puts out a lot of famous actors. Only a 1.5-2 hr train ride from NYC.
It’s wise to also consider costs on top of ranking.
A few MFA programs are full ride; some will give grants to certain students; and some are just very expensive…
Thank you for all the helpful information guys. Cost is definitely a huge factor. If I can get a good scholarship or just be able to go for fairly cheap and it still be somewhere that’s worth my time I’m definitely going. But only under those circumstances. There’s way too many actors that get by without having any training at all.
In response to your last comment @ejmcb123 I thought you might find this interesting:
Also look at Brown’s MFA program.
