I want to transfer to UNC can anyone help

Hello Im a freshmen at ECU and is trying to transfer to UNC, My first semester GPA was a 3.76, and i took 13 hours, next semester I will be taking 18 hours. Now my High School GPA was a 3.35, and my sat scores were around 1050, can anyone give me advice if I have a shot at getting in? My activity resume is very good and I made the deans list, i did get a stupid first offense alcohol violation which was not a big deal, but again can anyone tell me if I could get in?

Can anyone please help me come on!!!!

Based upon your high school grades being just okay, and your SAT being pretty low for UNC, you should wait until the middle of your sophomore year to apply to UNC. Then your high college GPA will outweigh the other stuff and you will have a good chance to get in.

In the meantime, make sure you are taking the right courses to get into the major you are interested in and to meet the gen education requirements. You can find these on the UNC website.

Good luck.

I also have 15 active alumni in my family, which i hope would help
