ECs & leadership:
-really involved in planning relay for life at my school. Each year we raise tons of $ for cancer research. I co-founded a club that focuses on getting the student body more involved w/ relay at my school (so, naturally, I have a leadership position through it). Also involved w/ the American Cancer Society outside of school.
-amnesty international: exec board
-youth & government <3
-student council
-key club
-NHS
-spanish honor society (this is really more of an award than an EC, but whatever)
-also considering starting a yoga club next year

Work experience:
-min. wage summer job
-internship at a nonprofit
-election judging (twice
not really sure if it counts as work experience)

Awards:
-national merit commended
-ap scholar w/ honor (once my most recent scores come in)
-5.0 award & whatever other meaningless awards my school throws out

Essays should be awesome. Writing is my strong suit and Im going to spend a trillion hours working on em.

U of C is my #1 school. Ill be applying EA. Not sure what I want to major in leaning towards political science/history. I know my ECs are lackluster, but hopefully my essays, recs, & obsession with the school will help me out. Anyways, good luck to everyone applying. Hopefully Ill be meeting some of you in a few months :)
