This is awesome! My first acceptance of the application season! :)

Congrats, enjoy!!!

Thanks entomom :)

Since I know that I was always looking for the stats of people who got into schools I wanted to get into, I’ll post mine. Maybe someone out there will have a similar situation. I definitely had a hard time finding cultural anthropology majors out there.

Still waiting on Berkeley, UCLA, Davis, and Santa Barbara!

good stuff! glad to see you get in

I too was a CCC transfer to a UC who majored in Anthropology (physical at Cal)! I’m glad to see that the CA educational system is still working, at least to some degree, despite all of the budget problems. The ability to overcome my less than stellar HS record and get a top class college education was one, if not the, major turning point in my life.

Thanks entomom  seems we are similar!

If I get into Cal (I’ll find out April 30th), I’m DEFINITELY going there. They have the best anthropology program I can find out about anywhere.

I see you also noticed my HS record, then? When I left HS, I decided it was time to start taking life seriously. I’m so happy to know you did the same :)
